Verna A. Kill's Obituary
Verna Anne Kill, age 96, died Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at Sedan City Hospital. Verna was born November 16, 1910 in rural Howard, KS to John and Margaret (Patterson) Beaty. She was a graduate of Howard High School.
On April 27, 1931 she married William Kill in Moline, KS. He proceeded her in death November 25, 1982. Verna worked as a housewife taking care of her family and their home. She was a member of the Sew-N-Sew Club, Music and Literary Club, Mother’s Club and St. Mary’s Alter Society.

15 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband. Daughter Kathryn Clare, Son: Duane, Brothers John and Fredrick Beaty, Sisters: Ethel Yantis and Alice Olson
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 A.M. with Rosary being recited at 09:30 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Moline, KS with Father Sixtus officiating. Memorials are suggested to the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Moline or St. Roberts in Sedan, KS and may be left in care of Countryside Funeral Home, P.O.
