Virginia Kay Crowell's Obituary
Virginia Kay Crowell, 62, of Longton, KS passed away Thursday June 6th, 2024 at her residence in Longton, KS. Virginia was born on October 27, 1961 to Father Patrick E. Crowell and Mother Sara Nell Odell.
Virginia enlisted into the Army where she proudly served her country. While in the military she also participated in volleyball and softball teams representing the Army.
Virginia also participated in playing softball and volleyball in Coffeyville as well. Growing up Virginia would always go fishing, trying to come home with a full stringer of fish to feed the whole family. She also would dry snakeroot and sell it to help out with taking care of the family.
Virginia will be know as a very hard worker, who loved all of her family very much especially her adopted kids. She also would do anything she could to help anyone.

Grand Children- Annabelle, Ezra and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Virginia is preceded in death by her Mother Sara Nell Odell and her sister Judy Andra. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday June 18th, 2024 at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, KS @ 1:00PM. Memorials can be made out to Longton Recreation and may be left with or mailed to Countryside Funeral Home 420 S. 20th St. P.O Box 247 Fredonia, KS 66736.
