Walter Ray Robertson's Obituary
Walter Ray Robertson age 52 of Benedict, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his home. Walter was born on October 11, 1961 in Neodesha, Kansas, the son of Donald Wayne and Leona (Latta) Robertson.
Walter was a graduate of Altoona Midway High School class of 1979. He worked at High Low and CDP as a shipping supervisor prior to becoming disabled. Walter was baptized at the First Christian Church in Chanute, he enjoyed hunting and fishing doing activities outdoors. Walter enjoyed bow hunting and wood carving.
Walter was married to Janee’ Chapman and later divorced, he was also married to Charla Fiene and they later divorced. Walter enjoyed visiting with family and friends and especially enjoyed family gatherings.

Step Children: Amanda Green of Fredonia, KS, Andrew Joyce of Dexter, KS, Jessie Almond of Chanute, KS, Nikki and Katie Almond both of Altoona, KS
Mother: Leona and husband Tim Costin
Father: Donald and wife Doris Robertson
Sisters: Marguerite Robertson of Chanute, KS Jill Gann of Altoona, KS, Angela Teehee of Walnut, KS and Kelly Williams of Humboldt, KS, Michelle Splane.
Step Brother: Shane McIntosh
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Cremation has been requested. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Altoona Cemetery.
