Wayne Powell's Obituary
It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry (Wayne) Powell. Resident of Fredonia, previously Rosehill Ks. on 9-9-25. He's survived by Wife Kathy Burnett, Daughter's Diana Fiorucci, Danielle Stewart. Sons Randall Walker, Johnny Mitchell. Grandchildren Chaz, Amber, Kelsey, Brendan, Tavion, Jaliyah, Riot, Rowdy, Izzy & 10 great grandchildren. Brothers, Robert (Bob) Powell (Bonnie), Richard (Dick) Powell (Janna).
Wayne's preceded by parents Noah E. Buck Powell Sr. & Opal Marie Powell (Clark). Sisters Kathryn Jane Powell, Verlia Embry (Powell). Brothers Raymond Morris, Noah (Buck) Jr. & Billy Joe Powell. Nephew Barry Powell, Grandbaby Wayne Korvyn (Danielle), Beloved Daughter Sue Ann (Susie) Powell.
Wayne was a Leap Year baby! Clearly the 1st sign that the serenity of a beautiful lake, catching frogs & fishing with loved ones were to be a huge part of his life. Dad was a hard working family man, served his country & would go out of his way to help others. We were blessed to have him in our lives.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 1:30 pm at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the avenue of flags and can be left with the funeral home.
