Wendy Renee Beck's Obituary
Wendy Renee Beck, age 47 of Overland Park, KS, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Overland Park, KS. Wendy was born on June 29, 1972 in Chanute, KS the daughter of Billy Dean and Joyce (Yokum) Beck. Wendy graduated from Humboldt High School in Humboldt, KS.
Wendy had a beautiful soul and loved to make people smile. She was known for always making people laugh and smile even on their worst days. She had a great personality and never met a stranger. Wendy most of all loved her son, Jamon, and was very involved with both his traveling teams and his high school teams. She was very proud of him for being a star athlete in baseball, basketball and football and loved to see him succeed. Wendy will be greatly missed.

Wendy was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Dean and Joyce.
The family will greet friends and family on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 10 -11 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Humboldt, Kansas. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation has been requested after the service. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. The family suggests memorials to be made to Jamon Beck Educational Fund and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
