Cindy Welsh
This whole week so many memories of Uncle Wes having been flowing through my mind and heart. Uncle Wes and Aunt Ruby's house was like a second home to me when I was growing up. Some of my earliest childhood memories is running in/out of their house in Severy while running around with Donnie, Rodney, Monica, and Rhonda. On many occasions throughout my school years....I would get off the bus and make my way to Uncle Wes and Aunt Ruby's house. Mom knew we would be okay till she could get there to pick us up. He taught me loyalty to a team (he was always listening to Royals baseball on his little hand held radio, sometimes with that ear piece in his ear) He had a great deep laugh. One of the phrases I keep hearing in my head is "Well, Cindy, that's just common sense." My childhood was blessed having my Uncle Wes in it. I will so miss him but I am comforted to know that the Robert family in heaven is having a good time. I just know my dad and uncles are continuing on with the Robert tradition of practical jokes and pranks. I wish I could be with you guys at the service today, but things just didn't work out so that I could be. You are in my hearts and prayers. You are my family and I love you. Cindy
