Wilma Orvetta Scheer's Obituary
Wilma Orvetta Scheer, age 64, of Iola, KS went home to be with the Lord and Bill, the love of her life, on March 5, 2018. She was born on January 8, 1954 in Iola, KS to Clyde and Wilma (Tuttle) Hardesty. Wilma married Billy Eugene Scheer, Sr. on January 21, 1972 and he preceded her in death on July 11, 2013.
Wilma was a giving and loving mom, grandma, and sister. She worked at Haldex until it closed and currently worked for Community Care Connection. In her spare time, Wilma enjoyed visiting with friends, reading, watching movies, and was faithful to her relationship with God. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; and niece, April Sanborn.
A memorial service will be held at LaHarpe Cemetery in LaHarpe, KS on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. The family will hold a potluck dinner immediately following the service at Iola Senior Center at 204 N. Jefferson in Iola, KS. Memorials have been suggested to help defray funeral expenses and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to: Countryside Funeral Home 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS 66720.
