Amber Elizabeth (Brazle) Fischbach of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016. Amber was born on November 25, 1981 and raised in Chanute, Kansas. She graduated from Erie High School in 2000 and went on to Read Obituary
When I was much younger, as a 4-H member, Amber was a true leader within our club. She was always adamant to help and had a smile on her face the entire time. I was shocked to hear the news of her passing and I pray for all her family friends.
I attended Kechi UMC with Amber and Justin. Sam was born a few months before my son, Jackson. I am praying for comfort and strength during this difficult time.
My special memories of Amber are as a graduate student. She was very organized and thorough, she wanted to be sure everything was done right. After the samples for her projects were collected we met almost weekly to discuss analysis of samples and the data that was being collected. During the animal part of the experiment Amber organized the labor of 2 to 3 undergraduates and I remember watching them check estrus and inseminate gilts and thinking, I better just let Amber run this, she has it figured out and all is well.
Amber’s sincerity and absolute honesty are very much in my thoughts about her, and also definitely her courage in facing her cancer diagnosis. My thoughts and prayers are with all her family and I am blessed to have known Amber.

The Fischbach family spent a day at our house for a gathering a few years back and it was my first opportunity to meet Amber and taste her delicious chocolate/marshmallow treats! Her personality was so joyful and uplifting that I couldn't help but smile when she was around. I am confident that her spirit has filled many of us with that same joy and whether we knew her for a lifetime or only a glimpse, we will forever be grateful for the impact she has made in our lives.
So incredibly sorry for your loss. I remember watching Amber playing piano at the annual 4-H competitions. She was a very accomplished pianist! My thoughts and prayers are with you all. ~Melody Adwell
