Amber Elizabeth Fischbach's Obituary
Amber Elizabeth (Brazle) Fischbach of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016.
Amber was born on November 25, 1981 and raised in Chanute, Kansas. She graduated from Erie High School in 2000 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in animal science from Kansas State University. Amber was a 11-year member of the Best Yet 4-H Club and a member of the Erie Chapter of FFA. She was an accomplished musician, playing both the piano and flute as well as singing in school. She was a member of the Erie Cross Country, Basketball, Track Team, and National Honor Society.
At Kansas State University, Amber was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, Mortarboard, Blue Key Honorary, and was a member of the Kansas State waterskiing team.
Amber married Justin Fischbach at the First United Methodist Church, Chanute, Kansas on December 17, 2005. She was a member of PEO and a member of the Kechi United Methodist Church. Amber volunteered at First United Methodist Preschool in St. Charles, Missouri, and at Rancho Vista Elementary School in Palmdale, California.
Amber is survived by her loving husband, Justin; their two children, Samuel, (age 8), and Laura, (age 4); her parents, Dr. Frank and Kathy Brazle; her brother, Andrew, of Chanute; Justin’s parents, Craig and Sandy Fischbach; and brother, Soren (Kelly). She is also survived by her grandparents, Gerry and John ReQua, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will take place at on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Chanute, KS. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home, Gibson Chapel in Chanute. Interment will take place at Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, KS on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. Family requests memorials to the Neosho County 4-H Fair Board, the Wilbur Buntin FFA Scholarship Fund, or Annie’s Hope: Bereavement Center for Kids of St. Louis and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
