Auny Nanny showed us so much love and was always a big part of our lives. Her sweet spirit and gentle love for us will never be forgotten. Growing up she would come to our house on Wednesdays and would always bring a bag of peanuts and red hots which was always a special treat. She had an special relationship with mother (her sister) and helped us through the tough time when mom passed away. The impact that she has made on my life is enormous. We love you Aunt Nanny! I met Anna and Donald when I started working at the clinic in 2008. They were the sweetest couple. They always held hands and you could just see the love they had for each other, simply by looking at them. I said to them almost every time I saw them how I wanted to be like them when I grew up! They just laughed and hugged me every time. The last time I saw Anna, I just happened upon her in the waiting room. She smiled and said she was so happy to see me. I teared up and she teared up because it had been a while. I am so glad I got to see her that last time and I still want to be like them when I grow up. I am so sorry for your loss. Take care of yourselves and Donald, he will need all your love and support. Hugs and prayers for strength and comfort. She was a great lady.
Anna was always a sweet lady to everyone she came in contact with, a true pure soul. She and I shared a special Date just 32 years apart, our Birth date, August 29th. When I lived back home in Chanute we use to wish one another "Happy Birthday" almost every year. My Mom, Jackie Haynes, was good friends with Annie and they both always enjoyed the fact that I was born on Annie's Birthday. In Chanute growing up it seemed as though the entire town was related not always by blood but heart. I have never experienced that spirit anywhere else. Annie's sweet smile will live on within my memory as well as that soft sweet voice... as she now enjoys her much earned heavenly Rewards. My prayers and thoughts are with all of her family as you all feel the loss of this precious jewel.
