Billy "Bill" Wolfe's Obituary
Billy “Bill” Herman Wolfe, age 73 of Grenola, KS, passed away December 27, 2020 at Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita, KS.
Bill was born Sept. 7, 1947 in rural Grenola (Elk County) KS, to David Emerson “Jim” Wolfe and Meda May Wells. He graduated from Grenola High school in 1967. He loved playing football during his high school years.
On May 29, 1981, Bill married Susan Elsie Irene (Speer) Davis in the Grenola Christian Church, Grenola, KS. They were married 23 years, until her passing in 2005.
Growing up, Bill worked on the family farm and hauled hay in the summer. He worked for Holt Grain Co. Dexter, KS., Bliss country-wide trash and Mark Arbuckle with County Wide Refuse. He liked fishing, deer hunting, riding his 4-wheeler, family and visiting with friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Susan, sister’s, Lela Bright, Lois Bell, brothers-in-law, Wilber Bright, Carl Reeves, Dr. Sig Daehnke, and sister-in-law, Judy Wolfe
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Green Lawn Cemetery, Grenola, KS
Memorial contributions in Bill’s name can be made to the Grenola Museum and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.
