I'm so sad to hear of Bunnys passing. She was such a huge part of my life growing up. She was a best friend. She was a mentor. She was just the coolest person I have ever met. She was the first adult I knew to get a tattoo - it was a birthday gift to herself. I remember thinking how daring that was. Lol! It was a butterfly - such an outlaw! I feel incredibly lucky to have had my time with her - We took so many trips together. We'd go to auctions, cat shows 😉 and hunting for antiques. She passed on her love for Elvis, old things and sausage biscuits with grape jelly. She was with me the first time I rode a horse and the first time I fell Off a horse. I haven't been to Chanute much since my parents passed but was lucky enough to catch up with her this last August. We laughed and cried about all our adventures. She had such a zest for life and so much joy for her family. I will always remember her and I'm happy that she is with Bill and at peace. ❤️
I have such warm memories of Bunny. She was so very kind and knew how to make everyone feel at home and comfortable. I feel so privileged that she was a part of my childhood. My sincere condolences to Bunny's wonderful family.
