Bunita Mae "Bunny" Reinhardt's Obituary
Bunita Mae “Bunny” Reinhardt, 75, passed away on February 21, 2018 at Diversicare in Chanute, KS. She was born September 22, 1942 in a country rock house, close to Claudell, the daughter of Reed King Cole and Marple Mae (Eller) Cole.
Bunny graduated from Gaylord High School in Kansas. She was a past president of the Kansas State PTA and was instrumental in starting the “Book It” program with Pizza Hut which encourages school children to read. She loved to travel, was an avid reader and enjoyed attending auctions and going to flea markets to find collectibles. Bunny served as a youth leader, along with Linda Reinhardt, at Big Creek United Methodist Church. She also served many years as an adult 4-H club leader, which focused on safety and parliamentary procedure. She took pride in running the office of the family farm “Triple R Ranch” and she also had many creative business ideas, one of which was “Bunny’s Bail Bonds”. She and her husband Bill were also active in the Farm Bureau. Bunny was a member of Big Creek United Methodist Church in Chanute, Ks.

Several Nieces and Nephews as well as many loved Cousins
Bunny was preceded in death by her parents, Reed and Marple Cole; husband, Bill D. Reinhardt.
Cremation has been requested. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com. In lieu of flowers memorials have been suggested to Horizon Hospice or Big Creek United Methodist Church and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
