Carl Albert Linder's Obituary
Carl Linder 80, of Grenola, Kansas passed away on July 15, 2015 at The Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita. Carl slipped quietly and peacefully into eternity, surrounded by his loving family. Carl was born on January 22, 1935 in Hutchinson, Kansas to C.A. and Alice Marie (Lewis) Linder.
Carl attended school in Elk Falls and was a graduate of Elk Falls High School. On July 10, 1954 Carl was united in marriage to Betty Mann in Wichita, KS.
Carl (&Betty) owned Claude Mann & Assoc., Inc. Carl loved all his hard work being a farmer and rancher. Carl was an avid outdoorsman with his huge passion for hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing poker and was a very skilled player. Carl was a wonderful, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and touched many hearts with his many kind ways.
Carl was a member of the Elk Falls United Methodist Church. He was also a Mason and a member of the NRA.
Carl is survived by his loving wife Betty. Daughter: Jan Crowder and husband Mick of Derby, KS. Sons: Brad Linder of Moline and Curt Linder and wife Shelley of Andover, KS. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, as well as, several nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Gloria Spicer.
Cremation has been requested. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Grenola United Methodist Church with Pastor Dena Allison officiating.
