Carol Lee Hornbuckle's Obituary
Carol Lee Hornbuckle, age 66, formerly of Howard, KS passed away at Hospice House in Hutchinson, KS on Friday, July 8, 2016. Carol was born November 24, 1949 in El Dorado, KS the daughter of Jesse and Bettie (Bruner) Hornbuckle.
Carol graduated from Newton High School and attended college at St. Mary of the Plains College in Dodge City where she earned a Bachelor’s of Social Work Degree. Carol worked as a social worker until her retirement.
She is survived by her brother; Steve Hornbuckle and wife Barbara of Hutchinson, KS, foster sister; Gayle Currie and husband Bob of Redding, CA, nephew; Jason Hornbuckle of Astoria, NY, niece; Tonya Navarro and husband Darick of Hutchinson, KS, great-nephew; Gabe Navarro, and great niece Mia Navarro.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; Jesse and Bettie.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 15, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at the Moline City Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Moline City Cemetery, and may be left with the funeral home.
