I went to school with Dave from first grade on. I remember what a great kickball player he was and how we somehow suffered through that mean teacher we had. Fast forward a few years and we both worked at Farmer's Discount Center. Then he was a neighbor to a relative. As life goes on he was always a friend. I can't believe he is gone… He will be dearly missed.
The news of David's passing brings great sorrow, as he was one of my very first friends when we moved to Chanute in 1963. We lived in a great neighborhood his parents were like second parent to me. David has always been a good friend with a smiling face he will be missed. May God bless and comfort his family .
