Sandy, we are so sorry to hear of Don's passing. All three of our girls had the privilege of having Don as a softball coach. He was an awesome man and coach. Everytime the girls have tic tacs they have to take two because of Don's words, you have to have two or you will waddle! Fred and I had the privilege of working with him professionally. He touched so many lives and we all loved him. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sandy and Matthew, I am saddened by your loss. I am blessed to have known and played ball for the best Coach ever. We had some great times, I will always cherish the memories of our many years on and off the field. God has blessed a great man with his peace!!

So sorry to hear about Don's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and for Don's soul to be taken home. I umpired summer and high school ball with Don coaching 3rd base a lot and he like to give me the business in a joking way. I always got along great with him and it occurred to me that maybe the Lord needed a 3rd base coach. A lot of girls and parents are better off having crossed Don's path. He seemed to have a great time at the tourney this summer and it was good to see him honored that way.

Sandy, Matt and family,
Not sure where to start. Don and I shared so many times together on softball fields and in bowling alleys. There was never a time when we did not have a great time. We both shared a love for both sports. Time passes so quickly, seems like only yesterday when our winters were spent bowling and summers playing ball.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless the Everly family.
