I am so sad to see the notice of our wonderful friend Doris's passing. The memories are flooding in my head of all the good times when we were neighbors on South Grant. She was always such a happy, smiling person and still in her last years, she remained so happy and positive. I am so glad she and Mom reconnected when Mom moved back to Chanute. She was a very positive person for Mom to have in her life. I dread telling Mom, of her passing. I know she will be very sorry as we all are as a family. I am grateful my high school friend Barbara Brookhart (who now lives in Tucson) sent me the notice. Sending our love and condolences to all, The Georgianna White family, Judi, Ron and Steve.

Thinking of all of you. So sorry for the loss of your Mother.
I have many memories of seeing your Mom at Ashley Clinic where I think she new all the patients that came in. I most remember her coming to The Tioga when it was an assisted living center and helped us put a quilt on the frame. It was my quilt top and I have the quilt which means a lot to me and I will always remember her for that. She was a very sweet lady and will be missed by many.
