Doug and I were cousins and, being 2 weeks apart in age, were especially close as kids, although we lived many miles apart. My family visited every summer - I have many wonderful memories. Rest in peace, dear Doug.

When we were little, our family would go out to Arma to have a holiday meal with Doug and his family. We are cousins. Doug always ate his bread from the inside out and left the crust sitting on the table. We shared a laugh recently when I say him at Gebhardt's. I teased him that I was going to watch him eat his bread to see if he left the crust. I will miss the smiles of my childhood playmate. God bless your family and may God's blessing carry you through.
