Doug and I were more than cousins - we were best friends as kids, even though we lived many miles apart. He holds a special place in my heart. I hope you are at peace now, dear Dougie (which he hated by the way )
When we were little, our family would go out to Arma to have a holiday meal with Doug and his family. We are cousins. Doug always ate his bread from the inside out and left the crust sitting on the table. We shared a laugh recently when I say him at Gebhardt's. I teased him that I was going to watch him eat his bread to see if he left the crust. I will miss the smiles of my childhood playmate. God bless your family and may God's blessing carry you through.

I taught with Doug for 13 years at Murray Hill along with lots of young teachers who had so much fun working and playing together. We have so many good memories that I will always cherish. Prayers for the family. Jean Anne and Bruce Kettler
I remember Doug as a classmate in Arma. Ks. He was always had something good to say and it was never known to me to hear him say something malicious about anyone.
