Dr. Larry McCune was my very first dentist in my life in Chanute, KS. When he 1st started his practice there & all my life until I moved away. He was my children's dentist until they were grown as well as my entire Haynes, Jordan family dentist. He was the best most gentle dentist I've ever known & I've never experienced another dentist that could take his place in my or my children's eyes. I'm so sorry for all his family members loss as I know lossing him has to have made a big void in their lives. May God Bless all of you & may he rest in peace & receive his heavenly rewards. Sorry this is so late I just discovered his passing.
We are praying for your family! We loved Dr. Monty and have precious memories of our days together at Westview Baptist Church. We came as Pastor to Westview in 1968 and you all joined the church and became leaders and mentors to us. I was reluctant to preside as moderator at church business. meetings so Monty was elected and served well. I was 28 years old and Monty was the first dentist I ever had in my life! He was a true Christian Gentleman! We believe he is now with the Lord and when Jesus comes again we will all be together in Heaven forever! An old Gospel song says, "What a song of delight in that mansion so bright, when all of God's singers get home". It will be worth it all, "when we see Jesus"!
Love to all,
Brother David and Anna Blase and family
We will always remember Monty as one of the best Sunday School teachers we ever had. His kindness was very special in our fellowship with him. I loved hearing his bass notes in the choir or in a quartet----and wished for more solos!!!! He has been a real role model for everyone to follow, even as his health declined. Will always remember him as he came to Sunday School class in December once again. He truly blessed us in his Christian walk. We thank God for being able to know him as long as we did.
