Ah, yes, Helen was such a good friend especially to my mother, Frances Barger. And she continually showed the love of Christ in everything that she did. We have such fine memories, quilts & pies & games, and especially the joy in her voice whenever we called or came to visit. She was always so delighted to hear from us! I always think about her when I put out our Christmas decorations as she gave me a "Stanley" Santa one year. And then each month when I play one of the old hymns of faith at the nursing home, I can see and hear Helen & Louise singing at Howard Christian Church, especially "In the Garden". Such beautiful harmony! I feel like I have lost my last connection with "home". We will miss her greatly, but rejoice that she is now at home with her heavenly Father.
