My sincere condolences to Suzie and all the family. I had the pleasure of knowing Irma as an activity director at McCrite Plaza Retirement Community. I'll always remember Irma's kind heart and good nature. She was strong thru adversity and had a great sense of humor. I admired Suzie's strong relationship with her mom. I take comfort in knowing Irma had strong faith in Jesus Christ, Heaven gained a great one. Praying for all.
So many memories Of her and Dennis at the coffee shops. Her encouraging words and his stories. One of the most precious moments to me was the Saturday morning before going to Yuma she hosted a coffee brunch at the house. Must have been close to 20 show up. Dennis was teasing he may run out of coffee and goodies while Irma was serving. She insisted that if he did not quit his antics he may have to do dishes alone I stayed long enough to see them working as always a team. I have been very blessed having the privilege of knowing them over my years in Howard. What a celebration of life is given by her example. Pastor Robin and Kathy Haines
My grandma was so kind and full of energy. She always dressed her best and her house was immaculate. She seemed almost perfect. On Thanksgiving she messed up and it was very memorable. She cooked the jello and refrigerated the uncooked stuffing. She laughed with us when she realized what happened. I will miss her tons. Stacey
Our Highest Praise and Thanks to this FINE LADY. Irma always had the answer or knew who did (or would find out and call you back) To her Family, we lift her up sharing our tears with you. I can still see her laying her hand on Dennis's arm if he was carrying on a little much. Hope to see you again. On a 1-10 scale she was a 20.
