We are heartbroken to lose a good friend, but we have wonderful memories over several decades of time and that is a blessing for us. Jerry, Connie, and you kids were a big part of our lives. I had the opportunity to have a lengthy visit with Jerry just a few weeks ago and I am so glad I did. He will be missed by us and our prayers are with Connie and the kids and grandkids. Oh what a loss to all who knew him. I am so glad I got to see and hug him at the reunion in September< when we OLDER grads "crashed" his!!! A special guy to my "sis" Connie and all of his family. Some great memories hunting pheasants in Western Kansas many moons ago and always having a few jokes to exchange when we met. I will always remember his "laugh"---it was always present and a bit unique------and always welcome. God Bless Jerry---he is in the very best of care now!!

I am so sorry to hear of my classmate and friend Jerry's passing. I saw him a few weeks ago while in Chanute for Artists' Alley when I visited the CHS Class of '64 pre-reunion reunion at the American Legion. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
