Joanne was my Dad's first Cousin, (Dale Baumgartel) Joanne always made it a point to
visit my mother when she was in town, my Mother redone some Dolls for Joanne several
years ago. I just got reacquainted with Joanne about three years ago, wish I would have known her better as she was interesting to talk to. Marlin Baumgartel
We were so sad to hear of Joanne's passing. We are very grateful Joanne was a loyal member and donor of Narcolepsy Network for many years. She supported us in many ways.

Jody was my mother’s first cousin. Her mother (Hattie) was my grandfather’s (Raymond Davis) sister. In our younger years our families visited back and forth often and Jody and I played together and were good friends. She was two years older than I. More recently we have communicated by letter and phone occasionally and my wife Doris and I visited her on her 80th birthday and a few other times before that..

Joanne and I corresponded after my father died, and continued to do so until recently. She was always interested in family history, and wrote about Howard, Kansas.
