John and my husband and I were very good friends for many years !! We had visited him at the nursing home a few times and later my husband had been to the High Rise in Parsons to see him a few weeks prior to his passing . Frank thought he was looking much better and was looking forward to another visit soon . So sad to hear the news of his passing . Frank and him had trucked many miles together in previous years and a few bike rides together lol !! We will surely miss him and Frank would like to know when graveside service is to be as he and I would attend if at all possible. Our prayers for this family at this time and he will be greatly missed !! Frank and Carol Rohrbough Altamont Ks [email protected] or Im on facebook also. He might have spoken of my husband as Little Blue in some of his trucking stories !!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We grew up with the Clines kids and our mom worked for them at their café on 14th street years ago. Lots of memories of the family from years ago. God Bless You All.

My most cherished memory of Uncle John Earl was, as everyone knows John Earl was a private person but he came to a birthday party for me at a local restaurant and as we got ready I gave him a big hug and kiss on the cheek. Oh he was so surprised he turned 7 shades of red. I just laughed to see him. He didn't even know what to do. Uncle John Earl you will be miss and I love you always
