John Earl Clines' Obituary
John Earl Clines passed away on Jan. 20, 2015 at his home in Parsons, KS; he was 77. John was born on Nov. 17, 1937 in Thayer, KS; the son of John and Alice (Clifford) Clines. He was raised in the Thayer and Earlton area. Truck driving kept John busy as this was his occupation for most of his life, he enjoyed being on the road.
John was preceded in death by his parents and brother Charlie Clines. He is survived by his siblings: Diane Dressler of Topeka, KS, Betty Perkins and husband Russ, Peggy Smith, Mary A. Clines, and Jerry Clines and wife Virginia all of Chanute, KS. John is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Cremation is planned; there will be no formal visitation. Graveside services at Earlton Cemetery will take place at a later date. The family suggests memorials be made to Good Samaritan Center in Parsons, KS which may be sent in care of Countryside Funeral Home 101 N. Highland Chanute, KS 66720.
