When I was a little girl, Dad would go out to the garage working on something and I wanted to 'help'. I remember him telling me, "go tell your mom she wants you". I did that a few times I'm sure.
He would do silly things, going to school in the morning, if the windows were clouding up. He would tell us to hold our breath- we're steaming up the windows. I believe we did.
Turning a corner, he would really exaggerate the movements - like it was really hard to turn the wheel or he would pretend to turn the wheel 6 times more than he needed to.
He called in for me on Senior skip day and I was excused; didn't get detention. He was so cool.
I only remember him raising his voice maybe twice; and yes, I needed it. And YES I listened.
Please tell me some stories of my dad - ones we"ve already heard or ones that we may not know. Thanks.
Carla
