Bo was my amazing neighbor here in Chanute. He always had the biggest smile, arms stretched out to give me a hug and was there to listen when things got challenging for me. Always shared his strong faith with me. We "shared " his cat Buckshot. He's here with me now my friend. I'm going to miss seeing you Bo, but I know I will see you again someday ! Love you brother ! God Bless you all. You have our sympathy. Herb and I will always remember when Bo was performing at the park in Chanute and during a break he came over and picked me up off my feet and gave me such a big hug that I thought my head was going to pop off. He stood there and laughed and we did too. Every time we seen Bo he was always smiling. I know he will be so missed.
So sorry to hear about the passing of Bo. He was always so nice to me. For the last several years he found peace with God and talked about his love for him often. Rest in peace my friend!
I met Bo in the spring of 1967, when I joined the Mynor Distraction band. In the early 70’s we were both in the Sensational Showmen. In 2010 we reunited for 13 years in the Past Blasters. Bo was my all time favorite musical soul brother, and no one will ever take his place. He was the most genuine and caring person I have ever known, and his absence leaves a giant hole in my heart that can never be filled. God bless Bo Gutierrez.
