I was lucky to have had the opportunity to meet Katie when she helped to take care of my Daddy while he was in the nursing home. Even though I only knew her for a short time I could see that she had a beautiful soul. She genuinely had compassion and love for my Daddy while caring for him. I know she is in Heaven sharing that beautiful smile with so many loved ones. She really was an angel on earth as she is now in Heaven. 🙏🏻

I'm so sorry for the loss of such a precious one. The family is and will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Katie was a sweet person and was liked by everyone, I send my condolence and prayers go out to her family, she really had time to talk and was also loved some of us residents here at Diversecare nursing home in Chanute, but the condolences and prayers come from me myself. Debbie Diehl
While pastoring at Temple Baptist Church Katie came into Ms. Carolyn and my life. She was instrumental in helping in so many events at the church especially the "Mother/Daughter Banquets." Our last theme centered around a garden. Now God's garden is more beautiful. Katie will forever be in our hearts.
