Kenneth Ronald Smith's Obituary
Kenneth Ronald Smith better known as Ron or Ronnie age 76 of Haysville, died peacefully Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his home. Ron was born on August 28, 1941 in Howard, KS the son of Owen Kenneth and Pauline (Corbin) Smith.
On June 24, 1967 Ron married Carol Ann Young in Nowata, OK. Ron and Carol have been married for 50 years which they just celebrated. Carol survives at their home. Ron retired from Electro Mech as a manufacturing engineer, but his true passions were family, the Bar-Z Rodeo Company, and working on the ranch and being a cowboy.

Children: Michele Smith and Kevin Smith
Brother: Don Smith
Grandchildren: Tiffany Thomas, Zachary Smith, and Danielle Fullhart, Cody Fullhart
Great Grandchildren: Aiden Overeem, Trayten McGathy, and Emma McGathy
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Rhonda Ball, sister Paula Lanning
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, with visitation being held 1 hour prior to service time, with burial to follow at the Cresco Cemetery.
