He definitely loved the Purkeypile Family Reunions!! He was always so kind to all and interested in learning how the families had grown and what we were all doing now. I’m saddened for your loss and that we can’t be together to share in your grief. We love you all!
I was so sorry to hear of Loren's passing. My heart and prayers go out to the family. I have a lot of good memories from when I was in 4-H, and spending time with him, the family, and horses. He really cared about the kids he worked with.

He was one of the best men that I ever met. He and my dad were friends. He came to the funeral home and sat with us and shared stories when dad passed. He was the best horseman and taught me a lot. His love for his family was shown everyday. A great man is in Heaven today.

Loren had a lot of patience when my son was in 4H, he learned a lot.
