Lue was amazing , she was the light that shined on everyone ..She never said a bad word about anyone and always saw the good in everyone . She was such a independent woman .. cared for her animals like they were her babies, grew the most beautiful Rose's, When we would go to her primary care doctor he would always say , Lue you are gonna live forever ❤️ She was so blessed by God. . We will see you in heaven one day ..love you beautiful..
I worked at the nursing home when Lue was a housekeeper. Had to work fast to get the residents out of their room, she would be waiting to clean. More than once she would yell at me about trash in the trash can. Lue would be spraying clearer or room deodorant like crazy. Only problem was all those smells made it hard for me to breath, so I'd have to wait for the smell to leave. She would laugh and say" But they smell so good." She did cut back, while I was still on the hall. She was a fun person, good hearted, and will be missed
It is with great sorrow that I hear of the passing of Lue Brown. She was a beautiful woman with a heart of gold. She was the most hard working woman that I have ever met. We became friends when we used to share rides together when we worked in Emporia Ks at Iowa Beef Packing Plant. She could outwork any of us and seemed to never be tired. I remember the love she had for her husband and her family. She loved to do carpenter work and was always thinking of ways to improve her home. I shall never forget Lue, she shall always be my friend.

As a chaplain at Howard twilight manor I met Lue and was so impressed with the care she gave to the residents. I remember when she introduced me to Linda who had volunteered to come in wants to play the piano for the residents . What a team they were for our residents. She Cared for the people as if she was taking care of her Savior Jesus, even willing to wash their feet if need be. Till we meet again inside the Eastern gate.
Lue Brown was a wonderful person who will be missed by all of those who were blessed to know her.
