Kim Wells
My great aunt Muriel is someone I only knew from a distance, because I grew up in Virginia with my family and granny (Weltha Wells) her older sister. I visited aunt Muriel when I was 5 years old and saw her one other time when she visited us in Virginia. My memories are very fond of her, but what stays with me most is the many letters she wrote to my granny. Granny loved getting letters and calling Muriel on the phone. Granny spoke of her often and it was apparent to me that she was loved deeply by granny. The day before granny died, the only request she had was to speak to Muriel. Aunt Muriel was loved from a distance by my family-- the Wells family... and even though I only spoke with her a handful of times, she was spoken about often and I felt like I knew her. I will miss her, if that even makes sense... My condolences to the entire family. Sorry for the loss of a beloved woman. May you be comforted...
