Nadine was my fiesty friend, she called one day and left a message, I called and we had lots of laughs, we had some great times at SWB, I tried to call some time later and learned she was no longer with us, the song I recall is Mable Get It Off The Table, This Money Is For Beer. Miss you my little friend.
My prayers go out to all of you. We all have lost a great person. I imagine she is up in heaven entertaining everyone with her jokes - how she loved to laugh and cut up! To me she will always be "shortie" the hobo clown who tagged along with the KC clowns and from then on was forever in our hearts!

I will miss Nadine (Shorty) as i know her. We clowned together for many years, she was funny, very kindhearted and wonderful to be around. Shorty you will be missed. :)

Nadine was such a good person , I have missed her. When we worked for SWB, she almost always had a new joke to tell. She made me laugh and was always willing to help with anything. Our Lord has called a good woman home. Love and blessings to all her family, she was such a sweet soul.

The memories of the times I spent with Nadine when we worked together in accounting are just flooding my mind. I remember when we dressed up for Halloween as a two headed clown. One year we took tennis lessons together and we often played together. She was 20 years older than me but she always won. We were on the tug of war team 2 yrs. in a row at the Wichita River Festival. There was nothing she wouldn't do or try. She will always be in my heart.
Will always remember her humor.

Nadine was a special lady and my friend. When my husband took his own life in July of 1976 and it was my first day back to work after a short leave I think everyone was afraid to approach me, not knowing what to say. Nadine was the first to speak to me, she said hey Joyce come over here and sit down and have a cup of coffee with me. I loved that women! Joyce Harshfield
