So sorry for your loss. We should not have to bury our children. Losing a child so unexpectedly hurts so deeply, but you know God is with you, He has His arms of grace and mercy wrapped around you and He will hold you up during this sorrowful time. You will have your wonderful memories of your amazing son for your lifetime, he will not grow old in your eyes, his smile wll always be young and full of life. Sitting in the middle of the Track at Humbolt Speedway with him and Trish Ammon's watching the Derby was lots of fun but scary but Nic got meh out there saying everything would b fine.
Terri, Jay, and family: We were so saddened to learn of Nic's passing. We remember him as a soft-hearted lil cuddly Teddy Bear as a youngster. We will always remember fondly the time we spent with him in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and on our baseball teams. Please know you, your family, and Nic are in our prayers. Cheryl & Dave Smith

I really got to know Nicholas in the last couple of years. He was such a special guy and I loved him very much. My prayers are especially for his mother since she was so important in his life. Won't be a day that goes by that I won't think of him.
