Jean Parsons
When we think of Juanita it is of her personality and her friendliness, always gracious and never a stranger! WE only knew a small part of her life, and we met her in many various places in Howard. We have been welcomed in her home at various times and we have been in her company in many more. I think of her a lot as I walk every day, and she always walked around town and up Wabash from her house to the senior center. A lady we admired and loved for who she was , she will never be forgotten. I personally wear a woolly hat like Juanita did when it was cold, and I never fail to think of her when I put mine on. Strange the things that we remember, but we just wanted you, to know how well she was respected in this town and thank you for giving us a place to tell you.
