When I was 8 years old, I started dancing at Dorothys'. My 1st recital, Patty & a boy named Tom something, did a routine to "Slaughter on 10th Avenue". At the end of the routine, Tom dragged Patty off stage by her hair!! I was amazed & very much in awe. Patty & that routine made such an impression on me, that years later, long after Patty no longer danced at the studio, when it was time for my 1st solo, Dorothy asked me what music I wanted to use. Without a moments hesitation, I said I wanted "Slaughter" & wanted to dance just like " my idol", Patty.
