Robert “Bob” William Frederick, 92, of Chanute passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Bob was born on December 19, 1931, in Owl Creek (rural Wilson County), Kansas, one of eleven children of Raymond and C Read Obituary
Bob was the nicest most welcoming Frederick uncle off all. He told me a story when his brother, my Dad, Lloyd took advantage his niceness once. Asking Bob to come help him harvest then disappearing to a bar and getting thrown in jail. Bob showed up to pick Dad up and the Cops put him in jail too! uncle Bob always mentioned that in the few times the Fredericks got together. Then he’d laugh a little and say that SOB never paid me either! We’ll miss his friendly face and welcoming smile. I’m sure Dad will finally pay him now that they are together again.
