Roma was born on July 14, 1944 in Moline, KS, to George Edwin Turner and Martha Jean (Sommers) Turner. She was preceded in death by both her parents.
Roma was the last survivor of the Turner family and was well loved. She made a lasting impression to all she encountered. At the age of 3 her family moved to Chanute, KS where she later graduated high school. Roma later attended Pittsburg State University where she received honors & distinction & a Bachelors Degree in music. She then became a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine graduating from the Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO.

She taught herself to play the piano in the 1990’s and enjoyed playing any musical instrument she could get her hands on. Roma was a gadget guru and avid QVC shopper. She loved preparing for any possible future disasters of any kind like if the electricity went out, tornado hit or anything else.
Roma returned to Moline, KS in 2010 and adopted nearly everyone in town. For the past two years, she also worked as a Deputy Clerk, for the City of Moline.
