Ruth Irene Morris' Obituary
Ruth Irene Morris, age 76, a resident of Howard, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. Ruth was born on April 9, 1936 in Washington, Kansas. Ruth is the daughter to Clarence E. and Pearl (Perry) Lister
After high school in 1956, Ruth married Lewis Glen Morris at the First Christian Church of Howard. They were married for 35 years until Lewis’s death in 1991.
Ruth worked at the family owned Howard Locker Company for several years. She enjoyed making Western Theme ceramics and going to various place to sale them. Ruth worked on numerous activities for the city of Howard and volunteered for several boards. In her spare time she enjoyed going camping at Fall River Lake. But most of all she enjoyed being with her family.

Randy Morris of El Dorado, Kansas
Brother:
John Palmer of Cheyenne, Wyoming
4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lewis, daughter Glenda Morris and granddaughter Brittain Morris.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Countryside-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard with Pastor Robin Haines officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held privately and done at a later date.
