Shirley E. "Barbara" Morris' Obituary
Shirley E. “Barbara” Morris age 74 a resident of Humboldt since 1992, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her home. Shirley was born on April 10, 1944 in Wichita, KS., her parents were Gilbert and Dorothy (Hughes) Neese.
Shirley was a graduate of Elk City High School, class of 1963. Shirley worked as a cook for various restaurants and later became a traveling CNA and caregiver. Shirley was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church in Humboldt.
Shirley enjoyed working in her garden, canning and preserving. Going fishing, raising chickens, sewing, loving her Pepsi while listening to Elvis. She enjoyed helping others, devoted to her church, but most of all loving her family and being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Dale Neese and step son Danny Morris.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Grace First Assembly of God Church in Fredonia with burial to follow at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service time.
