I'm only now learning of Treva's passing. She nurtured my interest in speech pathology from an early age and helped set the stage for what would become a lifelong rewarding vocation. I remember her fondly and with much gratitude. Rest in peace, Treva.
So sorry to hear of Treva's passing. She was my cousin and I remember when her and her husband Don lived in Chanute and were frequent visitors to our house on S. Santa Fe. She was a hard worker, religious and a person who lived her faith. Ironically, just last week I saw the Christmas card returned for a bad address from 2015 and I was reminded that I needed to find a good address for her. My deepest sympathy to you Marvin, at your loss. Sorry I could not be there in person to attend the services.

The Owens "kids" and our families send our most sincere condolences to Treva's family. Some of our best memories are of visits to the Waltermire farm back when we still lived in Chanute and the "tradition" on Sunday afternoons was to take a drive to visit relatives and some of those times we would end up at the Waltermire's farm. Uncle Worth, Aunt Jessie, Treva, Trula, Jack and Jay. We always had a great time and will remember those visits forever. Linda, Barbara, Susan, Bill, Sharon and our families.
