Sorry to hear of Mrs. Warner's (Virginia's) passing. I'm sure that she was a great daughter, sister and mother, but she was also a product of her generation. She was hard-working, honest and sincere. She was a great neighbor to my daughter and her family, she was kind to my parents and my siblings, and when I would be back in Chanute and visiting my daughter Pam's house, if Virginia noticed my car parked over there then she would make a point to step outside and visit with me. I always enjoyed talking with her. It would take me back to older days. My dad always told me that when an older person passes away that it is akin to a library burning down. Virginia took a lot of experience, knowledge and memories with her. But she lives on in her children and grandchildren...and in the memories of people she touched every day. She will be missed by many. All of the Bakers are sorry for your loss. Dennis Baker.
