William "Bill" L. Green's Obituary
William “Bill” L. Green age 70 of Fredonia, died Wednesday July 5, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita. Bill was born on November 8, 1946 in Jefferson City, MO., the son of William Bernard and Vivian Lee (Owens) Green.
After high school, Bill served in the U. S. Navy from 1964 until 1967. Bill had been in Law Enforcement for the past 30 years, and was the Wilson County undersheriff for many years. Bill enjoyed having coffee with his friends, loved to go fishing when he could, running and swimming. He was known to be very adventurous, and living life to the fullest. Most of all, Bill loved his family.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers: Lawrence Green and Joseph Reynolds
Cremation has been requested, the family is requesting for friends to stop by the Fredonia VFW on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 10:00 AM until noon, to share stories and remember Bill. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com. Memorials have been suggested to the Kansas Children’s Service League and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
