Bill was always a favorite cousin on the Humphrey side of our family. We enjoyed his humor, his dedication to family, his honesty and sense of fairness. We appreciated his willingness to carry on the family business, Humphrey Products in Wichita, for as long as possible even though it meant being away from his family during the week. He had a keen sense of responsibility for his employees and did what he could for them after the business closed. We are forever grateful to him and his family. We loved Bill and will miss him.

Bill is my brother in law and earlier this year when his wife Pat, my sister, was very ill and in the hospital, I talked with Bill daily. Bill maintained an amazing, positive belief that Pat would recover and that he would do whatever it took to support her recovery....and believe me, a determined Bill is a force!! Additionally Bill never once, in our daily phone visits, talked about his own serious health issues as his entire focus was on Pat, celebrating each day even her tiniest improvement. Bill and his steadfast love for Pat and their two sons will always be remembered by me for his devotion to family and for his strength in the face of daunting events.
