Such a treasure to have gotten to know Grandpa Bill with Beth when we were children. Deeply sad to hear the news. Sending lots of love and hugs to all of you.
So sorry for your loss but we are assured we will see him again. He loved the Lord and loved his family. Enjoyed sharing holiday meals around Mother's dining room table. Gayla (Harwood) Henderson
It was my honor and pleasure to serve with Bill on the hospital board for a number of years. I found him to be one of the best and most astute directors I have ever had the pleasure to serve with. More importantly, he was a truly dear and fine gentleman. I and the rest of Wilson County will miss him greatly. My condolences and prayers are with you.

I had the extreme honor of knowing Bill Estes. Bill and Barbara were my neighbors wihen I first got out of the Navy in 1977 and moved to Altoona, KS. His son Kent also was a neighbor, I've never known two men that worked so hard and long.
I know the family will miss Bill, but I know - and they know - that Bill loved God and lived his life as if God was always walking with him.
I pray for peace for Bill's family to get them through this time. Remember all of the good things he did and all of the good times you had.
I will miss my friend.
Bill was one of the finest men I have ever known. He was real Christian, a hard worker, morally unsurpassed, devoted husband, father and grandfather, community leader and a friend to all. I knew Bill for decades first as a close friend of my father's then as a client, mentor and friend. I never saw him in a bad mood and never heard him say negative things about anyone. His loss leaves a huge gap in the lives of many, including myself. Thinking of Bill will always bring a smile to my face and a good thought to my mind. Rest in peace my friend. There is no doubt that he is with our maker and his pain and infirmities that came with age are now no longer with him.
