This was a shock indeed!! Wilma was always a friend to me. We had good times and bad times when we were neighbors on Lafayette. Should have taken more time to visit her when she moved. I know she was a good Mother to her sons. She will be missed! My sympathy goes out to the family.--Alta Barnett

Wilma was our neighbor since 1983 when we moved to North Highland, was our babysitter for Jessie when she was a baby, and was always our friend with a ready smile and a wave from across the street. We will miss her.

Wilma was the customer at Walmart that would speak to everyone and try to leave a smile on their face, as she strolled by them on her shopping adventure. I seldom saw her without a smile or vocaling her contagious laugh. She was a hard working mother of 5 boys. I haven't seen Wilma for a few years, but I can't imagine she would have ever lost her zest for life. I hope her next journey will be filled with love and laughter. Wilma was my x-mother-in-law.
