I went to work on Wimp and Ethel's farm when I was 11. That was the best thing that could have happened to me. I learned so much from Wimp I couldn't begin to tell you. He taught Mike and I how to farm and have respect for others. He was a second father to me. During the summer months I very seldom saw my real parants. But that was OK because I had my Barnett family. I will truly miss him, just like I miss Ethel and my own parants.
We always new him as Wimp. He was one of my Dad's best friends. They worked together, and did a lot fishing together. He will always have a spot in the memories of my childhood.Rae Lynn Stanely Olson
To Monty, Linda and family. I just want you to know it was a pleasure knowing both of your parents. I worked with Ethel for along time and took care of her when she was sick. I remember your dad coming in the evenings to visit your mom while she was working. They truly loved each other. It is a comfort to know they are together again. Prayers for each and everyone of you.

I have a lot of great memories about my Uncle Wimp. He was like a Dad to me when I was growing up. I could go talk to him about anything. Mg and I pretty much lived on the farm while we were growing up. We had so many goodtimes. Hunting,fishing,and of course we helped out on the farm. We were out on the farm every weekend and all summer long. He was a strong gentle man. Uncle Wimp and Aunt Ethel were such a big part of my life growing up. I just don't know where I would be if wasn't for them. I loved them so much. He has a lot family waiting for him in heaven. I will miss Uncle wimp so much. Love you Michael Dean!!
We are so sorry for your loss.Winfred was an awesome man. He always gave advice to anyone who would listen. We are honored that we got to know and love this man. He will be surely miss.
